Our goal is to ensure they feel safe, loved, and supported throughout their stay. Below is a detailed outline of what is included and what to expect.

INCLUDED IN YOUR COMPANION'S STAY
- Premium Veterinary Diet
We provide a high-quality veterinary diet during your pet’s stay. If your companion requires a specific or special diet, please supply this for us to use. - 24/7 Professional Supervision
Your pet will be under continuous care by a qualified Animal Health Technician, with daily check-ins from a veterinary nurse, physiotherapist, or veterinarian. While our team cares for multiple patients and has other duties and responsibilities, rest assured that a skilled professional will always be on-site to keep your companion safe, comfortable, and well-loved. - Daily Health Monitoring
Vital signs (respiration, pulse, temperature, etc.) will be checked twice daily to detect any concerns early, such as infection. - Wound Care
If needed, we will manage and monitor any wounds carefully. - Medication & Supplements
Administered as required to support recovery and well-being. - Daily Updates
You’ll receive photos and videos of your companion’s stay and treatments so you can feel connected and reassured. - Weekly Progress Call
A veterinarian or physiotherapist will call you weekly with an update on your pet’s condition and progress. - Post-Surgical Rehabilitation (First Two Weeks)
If surgery has occurred, rehabilitation during the first two weeks is included. This consists of daily therapeutic laser, gentle range-of-motion exercises, controlled walks, proprioception training, and basic therapeutic exercises. - Collaboration with Your Pet’s Surgeon
We will liaise with your pet’s surgeon regarding follow-up rehabilitation before starting any advanced therapy, should you choose additional physiotherapy. - Basic Rehabilitation Included
Massage, laser therapy, therapeutic exercises, controlled walking, and proprioception training are part of our standard care and included in the boarding fee.




OPTIONAL ADDITIONAL SERVICES
- Optional Advanced Rehabilitation (optional) If you’ve opted for additional physiotherapy or rehabilitation, a qualified veterinary physiotherapist will assess your pet and create a tailored program based on their diagnosis and recovery rate. Any sessions not completed will not be billed.
- Acupuncture (Optional) Acupuncture can be highly beneficial for conditions such as Hip Dysplasia, Epilepsy, Osteoarthritis, IVDD, and others. These sessions are performed by a veterinarian with acupuncture training. To help manage costs, acupuncture can be combined with physiotherapy sessions when done on the same da=

Special Diets & Supplements: These must be provided by you.
- Additional Medication : Sometimes patients need a little extra medication beyond what was prescribed at discharge. This will only be given after a veterinarian’s assessment and your approval. The assessment is included in your fee.
- Additional Procedures & Fluids : Such as subcutaneous fluids, if required.
- Unforeseen Medical Emergencies
While we take every precaution, any unexpected medical intervention will be discussed with you before proceeding and billed separately.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Check-In & Check-Out
- Check-In: From 07:30 on the day of arrival.
- Check-Out: By 12:00 on the day of discharge. Late collection will incur a day-care fee of R200.
Dedicated One-on-One Supervision By Animal Health Technician (AHT) (Optional)
We can offer you a dedicated Animal Health Technician (AHT) to be with your companion 24/7, this means your pet will have someone solely focused on their care and comfort throughout their stay and have no other duties or patients for which they are responsible. As this requires exclusive attention, the additional charge is R1,000 per day. This is optional. See above for standard offering of supervision.
Ticks
Please be advised that we are situated on a small holding meaning that there is a risk of ticks. We recommend that you use your chosen tick preventative measure prior to admitting your companion.
Payment Terms
We want to make this process as easy and stress-free as possible for you. Below are the flexible options available:
- Single Payment Option: We require a 10% deposit to confirm your reservation. You may settle the full balance on check-in. Alternatively, you can choose to pay: 40% on check-in, then 30% at the halfway point and the remaining balance on discharge, based on the final reconciled invoice.
- For Amounts Under R5,000: You can pay as above or choose a 3-month plan: First payment at check-in by card and two equal instalments via debit order over the next two months. **
- For Amounts Over R5,000: We offer extended plans over 3, 6, 8, or 12 months: First payment by card on check-in. Remaining instalments via debit order in equal amounts over your chosen term.**
EXTENDED PAYMENT TERMS OF 3 TO 12 MONTHS:
- Initiation Fee: Debit order payments incur a small service fee, which we’ll share upfront.
- Documentation: For instalment plans, we’ll need you to complete debit order forms, provide supporting documents, and accept the mandate via your banking app on the day of submission. Please note: only certain banks qualify for NUPAY debit orders.
- Ready to Proceed?: If you’re happy with the quote and would like to pay in instalments, let us know your preferred term, and we’ll send the forms right away.

Frequently Asked Questions
- May I visit the facility before deciding? Absolutely! Please contact Delia on 065 708 9382 to arrange a visit.
- Can I visit my companion during their stay? Yes, we encourage visits! Visiting hours are 10:00–17:00. Please let us know in advance so we can avoid scheduling physiotherapy during your visit. Weekend visits: Bring an umbrella, sunscreen, a picnic blanket, and maybe a good book. You’re welcome to relax and spend quality time with your companion—there’s no rush.
- Do I need to bring anything? Please bring your pet’s harness (for dogs). You’re welcome to bring toys, Blankets, or anything comforting, though it’s not required. If your pet is on a special diet, medication, or supplements, please bring those along.
- Can I attend physiotherapy sessions? Yes! We’d love for you to join. Just let us know so we can schedule accordingly.
- How much attention will my companion receive? Your pet will be cared for and loved by our team. While they’ll miss you, we’ll make sure their time with us feels happy and comforting. They will be walked regularly and will be showered with attention.
- Do you accept cash? Unfortunately, no. For the safety of our team , we only accept card payments or debit orders for instalment plans.
- Is your facility registered with the South African Veterinary Council?Yes, we are fully registered and owned by a qualified veterinarian. Our team includes vets, vet nurses, physiotherapists, and animal health technicians. SAVC Registration Number: SC25 / 19803
