A vacancy for a FULLTIME Veterinary Rehabilitation Therapists exists within Animal Health and Hydro Cape Town (in association with Animal Physical Rehab). The position will be based across the two practices in the Southern Suburbs (i.e., Diep River and Newlands). The incumbent will be responsible for performing rehabilitation and therapeutic treatment modalities on small animals and horses, providing excellent customer service, and upholding the brand name of Animal Health and Hydro. The position reports to Dr Tanya Grantham.

Potential candidates intending to apply for this position must possess the following minimum requirements:

• Must be registered by the South African Veterinary Council.
• Must be in possession of one of the following qualifications: -
   o 4-year Veterinary Physiotherapy Degree from Equine-Librium College
   o Veterinary Nursing degree with CCRP or equivalent
• Computer Literate.
• High levels of attention to detail
• Ability in a group setting and work well with others, as part of a team.
• Ability to communicate well at all levels

Job Description

• Working hours Monday to Friday 08h00 to 17h00.
• Comfortable with multiple treatment modalities i.e., hydrotherapy, functional assessments, massage, laser, e-stim etc.
• Must be able to work both independently and in a team.
• There is a small percentage of home treatments, particularly in the equine space. Must be willing to do some travel.
• Market Related Salary.

Job Description

• The incumbent will be considered an independent contractor.
• The incumbent must be willing to work at least 8 hours per week. Preferably a minimum of 4 hours per day over two days.
• Hours available at both Diep River and Newlands in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town.
• Comfortable with multiple treatment modalities i.e., hydrotherapy, functional assessments, massage, laser, e-stim etc.
• Must be able to work both independently and in a team.
